Notice Description
The purpose of this tender is to appoint an experienced contractor to build a new permanent community facility that houses both a DCC and ELC, creating accommodation for an additional 60 nursery places. Works comprise of a traditionally built single story building of approx 250m2 internal floor area with concrete floor slab, structural steel frame, brick/blockwork external walls; internal wall blockwork and stud partitioning; windows and doors; roof- insulated zinc covering on steel and timber supports, mechanical, ventilation and electrical installations. Construction of a link corridor from DCC to existing ELC including alteration to existing building to accommodate the link corridor and replacement of the fire alarm installation. Includes reception area, main hall, office space, activity rooms, WC's and a kitchen area. General external works entrance/access ramps etc. Also included is external landscaping/fencing, new floodlighting and new furniture/equipment within the building
