Shetland Islands Council (SIC) is seeking to appoint suitably qualified consultants (planning/ architecture/community engagement) to run community-led engagement and participative design workshops in the village of Scalloway as part of the Scottish Government's Making Places Initiative. The successful consultant will be required to use the findings and outcomes of the workshops by working alongside the Scalloway community and SIC to produce a vision, report and action plan. These will be used to inform the Council's next Local Development Plan (LDP2) and empower the community to draft Shetland's first 'Local Place Plan'.
