This project comprises the removal of two Hydraulic passenger lifts with in Chancellors Hall and two Hydraulic passenger lifts within James Goold Halls of Residence University of Strathclyde; builders works alterations to the lift wells/entrance walls; and the installation of a conventionally guided Gearless MRL Passenger lifts in compliance with Lifts Regulations 2016 and EU Lifts Directive 2014/33/EU applying the requirements of EN 81-21 2009 New Lifts in Existing Buildings, with Notified Body Approvals in the absence of EN 81-21 2017.
