"description": "Financial Standing To establish the financial standing of a potential Tenderer, the Council will take into account a risk report provided independently by Credit Safe. Within such reports, the risk of business failure is expressed as a score of 30 or below (high risk of business failure). In the event that a company is determined to have a risk failure rating of 30 and below i.e. that the company is considered to have a high risk of business failure, the submission will not be considered further. For the avoidance of doubt, the Council will request a report from Credit Safe following the closing date for the receipt of the Tenders to ensure that the most up to date information is used. Where you are not register on credit safe e.g. charitable organisations or new start companies/ Sole Traders with less than 3 years trading history, discretionary powers are available to the Director of Finance to consider abbreviated accounts along with bankers references etc. Tenderers should be aware that any outstanding County Court Judgements will have a detrimental effect on the rating held by Credit Safe and it is your responsibility to ensure that the information held by Credit Safe is accurate and up to date - failure to do so will result in rejection of your submission. Insurance Requirements ERC require the following insurance levels to be held; Employers Liability Insurance held. Minimum level of cover 5m GBP Public & Product Liability Insurance held. Minimum level of cover 5m GBP. Professional Indemnity Insurance - Minimum level of Cover 1m GBH Where an Applicant does not have adequate cover, and in order to remain in the exercise, confirmation must be received that the level of cover will be increased. It will be a condition of award of contract that the level of Insurance is increased to the minimum stated and maintained throughout the period of the contract. If you respond to this opportunity it will be taken that you have read and agree to all information contained within the Tender Information Pack.
