Notice Description

It is proposed to appoint a contractor to undertake a research exercise in relation to the redevelopment of Maybole Castle, including outbuildings and grounds and the improvement of services from Maybole Town Hall. The purpose of the consultation is to determine the markets for future services and the balance of business potential across different activities, which will inform the priorities and design of the redevelopment at each building. The appointed consultant will be expected to carry out a market appraisal and provide a business plan for the preferred option for each building. They will also be expected to work closely with the architect appointed to carry out a feasibility study and the owner's representatives to ensure the identified option for each building is sustainable in the long-term and will provide sufficient income to secure the financial investment in the property.
