Recycling of Inert Waste
Notice Description
Perth & Kinross Council is seeking a contractor to receive delivery of inert (non-reactive) waste, and then to screen, crush and subsequently recycle the inert waste. Inert waste mainly comprises uncontaminated non-reactive material, including but not limited to a mix of: brick, stone, gravel, rubble, hardcore, concrete, clay, sand, soil, tiles, glass, crockery and ceramics. The inert waste arises from commercial waste customers and householders from hired out skips and from 8 of our 9 Recycling Centres. It is intended that Perth & Kinross Council will haul the inert waste. It is intended that the contract will last for 2 years with 2 x 1 year extension options available.We ask prospective bidders to respond with any questions through the Public Contract Scotland portal by Friday 13th April 2018 . The tender process will be carried out through the Public Contracts Scotland Tender portal, which all bidders must be registered on so as to bid for this tender.
