Borderland Growth Deal Initial Business Case Development
Notice Description
This contract notice relates to the appointment of a consultant to provide advice and assistance in the preparation of outline businesses cases for the Borderlands Growth Deal. Within the 2017 Autumn Budget, the Government set out their aspiration to enter a Borderlands Deal with Councils on both sides of the England / Scotland Border. The purpose of this Deal is to support economic growth on both sides of the border. As part of this Deal, the Government is seeking to commit funding to a number of programmes and projects. In order to reach heads of terms for the Deal, strategic outline business cases need to be prepared. Consultancy support is required to assist in the preparation of the strategic outline business cases together with the preparation of an over-arching 'Deal' document that provides a strategic narrative linking the projects and programmes together to present a compelling case for investment.

1. Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking to appoint a consultant to provide assistance in the preparation of strategic outline businesses cases for the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal.
