Aberdeen City Council is seeking organisations to take part in the Employability Pipeline - Progress Through Positive Partnerships project, which is designed to provide support and tailored assistance to develop employment and vocational skills for city residents. Part funded by the European Structural Fund (ESF), the 2.2millionGBP project, which forms part of the City Centre Masterplan, will see the council work in partnership with a range of organisations, including charities, to provide increased employability services and positive outcomes across the city.

The project is seeking key workers to complement the existing provision.

Service Provision

A broad range of provision is being sought, including: work experience across all sectors and disciplines; ESOL provision at all levels; employability skills including CV development and interview skills; computing skills from beginner to advanced; food hygiene and first aid certification; fork lift training; security, construction, hospitality, health and social care and retail; early interventions; one-to-one support; counselling, confidence building; resilience/self-sufficiency; personal care; and creative engagement. This is not an exhaustive list and the project team is keen to hear about innovative proposals which organisations may wish to put forward.
