Glasgow Locality Kinship Care Safeguarding and Support Services - North West Social Work Services Locality.
Lot 2 North West Glasgow. The service will be delivered to children and young people in stable kinship relationships in North West Social Work Services locality. The service will assist the local authority to meet its statutory duties by carrying out safeguarding visits to the children referred to this service; reporting back to Social Work Services on the safety and wellbeing of the child, as well as on any risk which may affect the stability of the Kinship Placement. The service will work with relevant agencies to support the achievement of the outcomes detailed in a child's care plan, also offering practical support to the family and child, for example liaising with local schools to address issues relating to the child's education and attainment. The service will be delivered in kinship carers' homes and the child's community. This procurement will be conducted via the Public Contracts Scotland - Tender portal (PCS-T). We will apply a one stage Open procedure. Bidders must self-certify their adherence to the conditions of participation via the ESPD (Scotland) in PSC-T, and may be required to submit Means of Proof before contract award. Bidders must refer to the specific requirements listed in Section III in this OJEU Contract Notice when completing the ESPD in PCS-T.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if there are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015

Applicants must complete the Financial Viability Template as part of their submission. Responses to the Financial Viability Template will be evaluated on a pass or fail basis. Applicants are also required to attached copies of the last 3 years fully audited accounts. These should be uploaded to PCST along with the completed Financial Viability Template. It is a requirement of this contract that bidders hold, or can commit to obtain prior to commencement of any subsequently awarded contract the following types and levels of insurance: Employers Liability (Compulsory Insurance)declaring that cover shall be not less than 10,000,000GBP (TEN MILLION POUNDS STERLING) in respect of any one event and unlimited in the period. For Professional Indemnity Insurance cover shall be not less than 5,000,000GBP (FIVE MILLION POUNDS STERLING) in respect of any one event and in the aggregate to be maintained for 3 years in completion of their service.
