River Clyde Homes is a 'not for profit' affordable housing provider that owns and manages over 5,800 homes and provides factoring services to a further 2,200 homes in the Inverclyde area. We hold the Investors In People Gold standard, and employ over 250 members of staff, including 58 specialist trades operatives. We require to procure a suitably experienced and competed contractor to undertake the refurbishment of a ground floor commercial unit, into a six apartment, barrier free, domestic dwelling within a Grade B listed building in a conservation area. Works to include for internal structural alterations and provision of disabled access within the rear garden.

The core skills, qualifications, accreditations, experience and competency of your work force should be provided(Worth 30% of ESPD Score) 4C.6.1 - Bidders will be required to provide details of the relevant educational and professional qualifications held by the managerial staff, and their relevant experience.(Worth 10% of ESPD Score) 4C.9 - Bidders will be provide details of relevant tools, plant or technical equipment available in relation to this procurement exercise. The policy must be relevant to the nature and scale of the work to be undertaken and set out responsibilities for quality management throughout the organisation. (Pass/Fail) The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent), accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001 (or equivalent) or have, within the last 12 months, successfully met the assessment requirements of a construction-related scheme in registered membership of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum.
