Summary of the contracting process

River Clyde Homes, a non-profit affordable housing provider based in Greenock, UK, is inviting tenders for the "Domestic Refurbishment Works" project, aimed at transforming a ground-floor commercial unit into six barrier-free apartments within a Grade B listed building. The procurement process is currently in the Tender stage, with submissions due by 18 May 2018. This project falls under the works category and is focused on housing and community amenities, with a defined local delivery area in Greenock.

This opportunity allows businesses in the construction and refurbishment sectors, particularly those with experience in residential projects, to potentially enhance their market presence in Inverclyde. Companies that can demonstrate prior successful delivery of similar contracts and possess the requisite financial stability and insurance coverage requirements, such as employers’ and public liability insurance, would be well-suited to compete in this tender. The initiative also invites bidders to outline community benefits, which may further align their proposals with local development goals.
