Capital Theatre King's Limited require the services of an Architect to lead the design of the transformational refurbishment of the Listed King's Theatre in Edinburgh as further described in the appended Procurement Information Document and notes below: The Architect will require to perform the role of lead designer to separately appointed design team members comprising but not restricted to Heritage Interpretation Designer, Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, Structural Engineer, Fire Engineer and Acoustician. The Architect will require to demonstrate experience and expertise in the delivery of similar projects as lead design consultant. notably comprising the following key project characteristics: o Complex refurbishments o Listed premises o Heritage status and design integration o Transformational theatre activity solutions such as heritage visits, learning and participation and commercial daytime activities. It is a requirement of the appointment that the Architect provides the following additional services: 1. Specialist Theatre Consultant Services 2. Access Management Consultant Evidence of a proven track record in the delivery of successful projects containing the key project characteristics must be provided for each of the additional services roles listed.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulation 2015.
