Specifically this should address an Engineering Inspection contract for a buyer of a size at least equivalent to the Authority. -Bidders will be required to confirm details of the technicians or technical bodies who they can call upon, especially those responsible for quality control. -Bidders will be required to confirm that they and/or the service provider have the following relevant educational and professional qualifications: training shall at a minimum be expected to meet the requirements of SEMPMO222 - SQA Unit Code H04N 04 Carrying out inspection and testing activities. -Bidders will be required to confirm that they will employ environmental management measures that meet the following requirements: --BS EN ISO 14001 (or equivalent) or a valid EMAS (or equivalent) certificate, or --A documented company policy that complies with the requirements detailed in the Additional Standard Statements document that has been included under Additional Documentation within this contract notice. -Bidders will be required to confirm their average annual manpower for the last three years. -Bidders will be required to confirm their and the number of managerial staff for the last three years. -Bidders will be required to demonstrate that they have (or have access to) the relevant tools, plant or technical equipment to deliver the types of requirements detailed in II.2.4 in the OJEU Contract Notice or the relevant section of the Site Notice. -Bidders will be required to confirm whether they intend to subcontract and, if so, for what proportion of the contract."
