Homelessness Prevention: Homeless Accommodation with Support
The purpose of this Service is to provide suitable accommodation within Edinburgh to enable the Council to provide interim accommodation for adults who are homeless and require housing support. The aim of the service shall be to provide Interim accommodation for people who have been assessed as homeless, aged either 16 plus or 18 plus, with housing support needs, Support to develop independent living skills, Housing options advice, Support to move on to suitable settled accommodation.. Homelessness Prevention Rapid Access Accommodation ServiceThe purpose of this Service is to provide immediate homeless temporary accommodation for single people and couples who are rough sleeping which can be accessed directly by Council designated outreach services. The aim of the service shall be to provide immediate homeless temporary accommodation for people who are rough sleeping in Edinburgh and aged 18 years or above with support people to access suitable 'move on' accommodation.. Homelessness Prevention Homeless Accommodation with Support for Young PeopleThe purpose of this Service is to provide suitable accommodation within Edinburgh to enable the Council to provide interim accommodation for young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless and require housing support. Accommodation can be provided for single sex individuals, women only, or mixed sex and/ or gender identity. Please refer to ITT Documents for additional information
Homelessness Prevention Homeless Accommodation with Support for VeteransThe purpose of this Service is to provide suitable accommodation within Edinburgh to enable the Council to provide interim accommodation for Veterans of the armed services who are homeless and require housing support. Veterans are defined as anyone who has served for at least one day in Her Majesty's Armed Forces (Regular or Reserve) or Merchant Mariners who have seen duty on legally defined military operations. For the purposes of this document, the term "veteran" will be used to represent all former Armed Forces personnel.. Please refer to ITT documents for additional information
Homeless Accommodation with Support Move on FlatsThe purpose of this service is to provide suitable accommodation within Edinburgh to enable the Council to provide interim accommodation for single adults or couples who are homeless, have been accommodated in Rapid Access Accommodation and need further support to live independently.
