Smarter Choices, Smarter Places is designed to increase active travel and public transport use, reduce car dependency, tackle transport emissions and promote sustainable places. Falkirk Council is aiming to increase levels of active and sustainable travel amongst residents throughout the Council area. Submissions should clearly identify a proposed methodology for maximising the engagement and delivery of an active travel behaviour change programme based on street art work within the village of Maddiston. The scheme should provide street based activities, community engagement and work with local schools to deliver a programme of art installations and associated activities to allow people to discover new walking and cycling routes.
