River Clyde Homes (RCH) is a Registered Social Landlord responsible for the management of some 7000 homes all located within the Inverclyde area. We are looking to procure a competent and experienced company to undertake Demolition Works at 80-86 Neil Street, Greenock. The works comprise of the demolition of 4 tenement properties over 4 stories. Each block contains 12-flatted properties. Two of the tenement blocks are vacant (80 & 84), and works on their demolition should start on site in September. A site presence (including a permanent timber hoarding fencing off of the area), must be provided immediately after the contract award date. The other two blocks (82 & 86) still have owner-occupiers in situ, and these remaining blocks will require to be demolished at a later date (possibly early 2019) once RCH concludes negotiations with the sitting tenants. Tenderers should make allowances within their rates for potentially having to vacate and then relocate to the site. Information regarding the utilities onsite is provided within the supporting documentation and drawings that are attached to the contract notice. Interested parties must first evidence to River Clyde Homes via the ESPD that they have the requisite technical capacity, and experience to undertake works of this nature, before they will be taken forward to the full tender evaluation.
