Capital Theatre King's Limited seek to procure the services of a Quantity Surveyor to support the design the transformational refurbishment (RIBA Plan of Work 2013 Stages 2 to 6) of the Listed King's Theatre in Edinburgh as further described in the Procurement Information Document and notes below: The Quantity Surveyor will be an integral member the team reporting directly CTKL whilst supporting an architect lead design team comprising separately appointed team members consisting but not restricted to Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Services Engineers, Specialist Theatre Consultant, Civil and Structural Engineer, Acoustician and Heritage Interpretation Designer. The Quantity Surveying practice is required to demonstrate experience and expertise in the delivery of similar projects notably comprising the following key project characteristics: - Complex refurbishments - Listed premises - Heritage status and design integration - Transformational theatre activity solutions such as heritage visits, learning and participation and commercial daytime activities.
