Notice Description

The Common Service Agency (acting through its Strategic Business Unit, The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service) requires the supply of Re-usable Sterile Eyewear for use in Grade A/B Cleanrooms to include a laundry service of said product.

Lot Information

Lot 1

To ensure compliance with the upcoming revised Annex 1 of EudraLex Volume 4, eyewear requires to be introduced for use by personnel involved in the manufacture of blood, tissue and cell therapy products to EU GMP cleanroom standards within Tissues, Cells & Advanced Therapeutics (TCAT) clean room facilities. The use of sterile eyewear will be implemented at Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine (SCRM) in the first instance and introduced at Jack Copland Centre (JCC) at a later date.

Renewal: The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service shall be entitled, at its option, to continue the contract beyond the three year initial Contract Term for three (3) twelve (12) month periods subject to giving not less than six (6) months' notice to the successful Bidder, such notice to expire no later than the date upon which the Contract would otherwise have expired.
