River Clyde Homes (RCH) is a Registered Social Landlord responsible for the management of some 7000 homes all located within the Inverclyde area. We are looking to procure a competent and experienced company to undertake Demolition Works at Banff Road in Greenock.

Lot 1

The works comprise the demolition of: - Two tenement properties at 15 and 17 Banff Road Greenock, PA16 0EJ. (Each of these properties is three stories high and contains 5 individual flats within each block) - Four small shop units at Angus Road Greenock, PA16 0PE - One larger shop unit at Nairn Road Greenock, PA16 0EY Detailed information regarding the scope of the works being tendered for is provided within the Pre-Construction Information (PCI) document, supporting documentation, and drawings that are attached to the contract notice. Bidders should be aware that although the PCI specifies Heras Fencing, 2m high timber hoarding is actually required. The PCI also mentions Asbestos Surveys & Reports. These will be made available to the successful bidder on contract award. For tender evaluation purposes, bidders are required to allow a provisional sum within their rates of 20k GBP for Asbestos Removal. The contract will be awarded mid-September, with the on-site demolition works commencing in April 2019. It is imperative that a site presence (including timber-hoarding fencing off the area and the sealing of any possible access points for wildlife to the properties) is established by late November 2018.
