"description": "Aim To facilitate deeper engagement of Eastern European migrant communities in their chosen areas of settlement and encourage meaningful integration with the indigenous populations or the identified areas Vision The stated aim will be achieved through the provision of a menu of events and activities that support the understanding of both similarities and differences between migrant and indigenous communities. This will be achieved through the minimisation of social, cultural, economic, and political barriers to living in integrated, mutually supportive communities by engaging young people in activities with the aim being to bring parents and carers from different nationalities together. Objectives 1. Run a series of engagement activities with local community groups (migrant and indigenous), council services (e.g. but not limited to Primary Schools and Academies, Community Led Development; Social Work etc.), and external agencies (e.g. but not limited to Citizens' Advice Bureau; National Health Service; Aberdeenshire Voluntary Action etc.) that garner advice for integration methodologies, support and buy-in for future activities. 2. In partnership with relevant sources (including community groups, council services and external agencies), develop a series of varied workshops, providing opportunities to work constructively as a group towards a creative result celebrating distinct and shared culture heritage, including but not necessarily limited to visual art, music, dance and performance. These workshops will run in each of the identified locations to encourage social interaction and skills development through mutually beneficial activities. 3. Deliver an effective and targeted marketing campaign that engages the target populations and raises awareness of the content and benefits of the programme of activities. 4. Hold a project launch event at a suitable time and venue; 5. Deliver the series of workshops on a regular (weekly or fortnightly) basis in the identified locations; 6. Deliver the series of artistic showcases at identified regional events; 7. Prepare and submit regular progress reports highlighting specified key performance indicators to the North Aberdeenshire Local Action Group throughout the lifespan of the project; 8. Prepare a Social Return on Investment study to evaluate the programme, this will be presented to the North Aberdeenshire Local Action Group and submitted in a report format.",
