Notice Description

The University of Edinburgh (UofE) requires the services of a multidisciplinary design team to develop the proposals for the planned phased refurbishment of the Queen's Medical Research Institute (QMRI) at the Edinburgh bioQuarter (bioQ), Little France. The Crown Commercial Service Framework RM3741 - Project Management & Full Design Team Services, Lot 1 (Multidisciplinary Services) was used to run a further competition amongst interested bidders . The appointed design team will have extensive experience of:- - Delivering phased refurbishment projects in existing occupied buildings; - Refurbishment of highly serviced research laboratories; - Delivery of Home Office licenced Biomedical Research facilities including procedural and support labs; - Extensive experience of altering existing, live M&E services in the context of life science scanning equipment; and - Design and delivery of Containment level 2 laboratory design.
