Notice Description
Renfrewshire Council wish to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to undertake electric storage heating, smoke and heat alarm installations within four multi storey blocks. (Maxwellton Court, George Court, Gleniffer Court and Nethercraigs Court).

Lot 1
This work will be contained within four of those multi storey blocks and replace the existing storage heating system, and hot water cylinder, with a modern electric storage system or commonly termed as High Heat Retention Storage Heaters (HHRSH), new hot water cylinders, panel heaters and down flow heaters as well as Heat and smoke detectors in the living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. For both heating and Heat/smoke detector work the Contractor will provide a Customer Liaison Officer to work in conjunction with the council's delivery team and coordinate with the tenant for installation works. This will include notification of the proposed works, their scope and any issues that may arise as a result, such as the placement of heaters, cylinders or smoke/Heat detectors. The CLO will facilitate communicate between the council, contractor and tenant in order to provide a good customer service approach.
