Notice Description

The Authority requires a Service Provider(s) to provide consultancy advice to assist Estates and Technical Services to deliver a wide range, type and complexity of construction projects. Typically this shall be provision of specialist services such as Architects, Engineers, Surveyors. The Service Provider(s) shall also provide a specialist advisory service covering a wide range of professional and engineering disciplines and other development and property / facility related issues. The Services Provider(s) shall provide a fully managed multi-disciplinary design service for the development of construction projects including new build or refurbishment, specialist systems design and installation (e.g. CCTV installations, fire detection upgrading, etc.) and major maintenance (including services such as mechanical plant replacement). It is also anticipated that minor ad-hoc requirements will be delivered through the Framework/Contract.

The main customers of the required Design and Technical Services will be the Scottish Prison Service (SPS), however other Public Bodies may also be named on this Framework/Contract, including Scottish Court & Tribunal Services and Highlands and Islands.
