C001680 Optometry Accreditation for the Management of Ocular Hypertension and Glaucoma
Notice Description
NES require sufficient education and specialist knowledge to work with NES Optometry team in designing a curriculum around the Royal College of Ophthalmologist's relevant guidance, aligning it with the knowledge and skill set of Optometrists. The delivery of required knowledge and skills to meet the curriculum design must be detailed, along with suitable areas for assessment, and for measurement of delivery quality and impact. A plan must be developed for adequate supervision, and witnessing of clinical experience, that utilises portfolio, and that attracts the support of Ophthalmology. The project timescale, to the point of delivery of a course ready to be subscribed, runs until December 2019.
