Candidates will be required to provide evidence of this cover in the form of the following: A letter from their company's insurance broker confirming the insurances the insurance broker has arranged on behalf of their company. This is normally referred to as a \"to whom it may concern \" letter and includes summary details of the insurance cover held including the name of the insurer or underwriter, the policy number, the date cover begins and ends, the extent of the cover, including indemnity limits, excess levels and any special conditions or warranties applicable. The letter must be provided in electronic format. If Candidates do not currently hold this level of cover they may in the ESPD (Scotland) state that in the event of being successful in the procurement process for a Contract, the required insurance cover will be put in place. Evidence of the required insurance cover will be a condition of entering into a Contract. It is condition of the Contract that these minimum indemnity levels be held for the duration of the Contract and updated evidence will be required on the insurance renewal date. Candidates unable to commit to obtain the levels of insurance detailed above will be assessed as a FAIL and be excluded from the competition. 4B.6 Candidates who do not achieve a minimum D&B failure score of 30 and above and fail to provide any additional explanation or supporting information may be assessed as a FAIL and excluded from the competition."

    "description": "The Contract will be for 1 year with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months on 3 separate occasions, depending upon available funding and the availability of suitable properties and subject to satisfactory operation and performance. Any extension will be at the sole discretion of Renfrewshire Council. The contract has 2 parts, Part 1 (planned services) and Part 2 (reactive services). The anticipated value of Year 1 Part 1 work is 5,464,343,24 excluding VAT and no further work is guaranteed. As contained in the Council's Invitation to Tender the correct Award Criteria was Quality 40% and Price 60% as used for evaluation purposes, rather than those placed in error within the contract notice. Amendment to the 4B.1.1 - Financial Standing was made during the tender live period and the financial level was reduced from 15M to 10M GBP. This revision was broadcast to all parties noting interest in this tender. In accordance with the Tender Documents the Council appointed a sole contractor as identified (V2.3).
