Dundee and Angus College - Associate Trainers
Notice Description
Our ambitions to grow are currently matched by a significant increase in demand for our excellent training and consultancy services which we anticipate will continue to grow. With this in mind, we are seeking to develop an Associate Trainer service provision to meet this demand.
Lot Information
Lot 1: Digital Skills
Digital skills, cyber security and resilience and analysing/understanding big data are subjects required by individuals in a variety of posts from lower level to specialist skilled operators spanning all occupational sectors. Accredited and non-accredited opportunities ranging from SCQF5 and above requested. Training on commonly used and industry-standard software packages such as Sage is also a recurring requirement.
Renewal: The College reserves the right to extend the Contract for a further 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and continued College requirements.
Lot 2: Management SkillsProject management, change management, management communication, managing, leading and motivating teams, supervisory skills. These subject areas are aimed at new supervisors and those wishing to upskill with the opportunity for career development. Accredited and non-accredited options are required. Non accredited options may last for half a day/day and will require to be contextualised to the needs of the business for bespoke contracts.

Lot 3: Communication and Soft SkillsMaking presentations, problem solving, assertiveness skills, customer service. Non accredited training opportunities with delivery focussing on introductory/intermediate level opportunities delivered over a half day/day duration.

Lot 4: Health and SafetyIOSH Working Safely and IOSH Managing Safely. There may be a requirement for non-accredited delivery.

Lot 5: Construction and TradesCity & Guilds 18th Edition Electrical Wiring - full course and industry update.
Renewal: The College reserves the right to extend the Contract for a further 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and continued College requirements.
Lot 6: Training and AssessingAssessor and Verifier Qualifications Coaching and Mentoring Train the Trainer Accredited and non-accredited options.
