Notice Title
Award of NHS Forth Valley Elective Capacity Project - Lead Adviser/Technical Adviser
Notice Description
NHS Forth Valley has been reviewing how it uses its operating environment to support sustainable improvements in a range of access standards, notably: diagnostic capability and 4 hour Emergency Department, 12 week first outpatient and Treatment Time Guarantee compliance. The plan is to create additional capacity on the Forth Valley Royal Hospital site. This additional capacity will offer best in class orthopaedic and future ophthalmology services with scope to support greater regional working in partnership with the Golden Jubilee Hospital. NHS Forth Valley and the Golden Jubilee National Hospital have a recent history of joint recruitment which signals a different way of working for both organisations. A phased capital investment schedule would minimise service delivery disruption/performance whist supporting additional diagnostic and elective outpatient, day-case and inpatient activity.
