Notice Description
Residential Recovery Services will play a key role in Glasgow's response to the problems caused by drug and alcohol misuse and support Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (GADRS) improve outcomes for some of the most vulnerable people in the city. Residential Recovery Services will support those individuals who require detox and stabilisation or abstinence from illicit and prescribed drugs and/or alcohol.
Lot Information
Glasgow Residential Recovery Services (Stabilisation)
The service will be delivered to those individuals who have been assessed as appropriate for a residential placement with a primary focus of stabilising their alcohol and drug use which may include optimizing Opiate Replacement Treatment (ORT), managing benzodiazepine use and medication assisted detoxification from alcohol in a supported environment.
Renewal: Contract on 3+1+1 basis.
Glasgow Residential Recovery Services (Abstinence)The residential service will be delivered to those individuals who wish to a achieve abstinence. It may include a short detox from low dose ORT where applicable. The service will promote physical and mental wellbeing and will further support individuals to develop resilience, confidence and the skills required to maintain their abstinence and continued wellbeing in a community setting.
Renewal: Contract on 3+1+1 basis
