Notice Title
Research project - Scaling the Place Standard Tool: research to inform preparation of NPF4
Notice Description
This research will explore how the Place Standard tool can be scaled up to operate at a strategic, regional or national level, and how the tool might be used to monitor delivery of national outcomes.
Lot Information
Lot 1
The Place Standard assessment tool was developed in 2015 by NHS Health Scotland, Architecture & Design Scotland and the Scottish Government as a result of the 2013 Creating Places policy statement (2013) and Good Places, Better Health (2008). The tool provides a simple framework to structure consistent and relevant conversations about place and identify communities perceptions of their neighbourhood. This project will consider how the Place Standard tool can be scaled up to operate effectively at a strategic and regional level. The work will inform how the Place Standard tool's structure could be used to develop the next iteration of NPF4.
