Contractors will work with East Lothian Council to draft a Deer Management Statement for authority including its owned and/or leased land. This statement will act as the framework upon which site specific management plans can be produced and guidance can be given to other landowners. Contractors will work with the Council to develop the detail, structure and format of the Deer Management Statement that best meets the Council's needs to take forward the WDNA vision on the land owned and managed by the Council and for guidance offered. This will consist in following WDNA guiding principles, its priorities and the approach promoted in the Code of Practice on Deer Management.. Please note that as this contract will be funded from SNH's 2019-20 financial year budget, no payment can be made until contract completion.
