Fulfilment of the Schoolhill Streetscape Construction - Stage 1 contract.

Lot 1

The Council wish to award a contract to undertake the construction works associated with the Schoolhill streetscape project. The Scope of Works shall include, but not be limited to:- - Site clearance; - Alterations to existing drainage arrangements; - Removal of existing materials and excavation; - Surfacing Works including laying of base, stone kerbs, slabs and block; - Construction of steps and graded areas; - Installation of bollards; - Re-location of traffic signal equipment; - Disconnection of existing power supplies from existing lighting column(s); - Excavation of trenches, placement of ducts and reinstatement of trenches for utilities; - Raising and altering existing utility covers - Communication and co-ordination with utility providers; and - All associated temporary traffic management works which will include the protection of open excavations, and liaison with adjacent frontagers.
