Summary of the contracting process

The Centre for Process Innovation Limited is currently conducting a tender for the "Framework for MMIC Powder Feeding/Blending, PAT, Data Management - GC1" aimed at providing equipment for a development phase that will eventually inform the establishment of a next-generation continuous test bed. This key contract falls under the goods procurement category with a significant contract value of £2 million. The procurement process, initiated as an open tender, includes a main equipment lot requiring proposals for a continuous feeder and blender platform for delivery in the UK. Important dates include the tender submission deadline on 4 March 2019 and the contract signing that took place on 5 August 2019, marking the commencement of a contract period lasting 1440 days.

This project presents excellent opportunities for businesses involved in manufacturing and supplying process equipment, especially those specialising in blending and feeding systems. Suppliers of advanced analytical instrumentation, particularly those with experience in PAT (Process Analytical Technology) systems, will find this tender highly relevant. Given the complexity and technical requirements of the equipment sought, companies that can deliver innovative and cost-competitive solutions would be ideally positioned to compete and thrive in this procurement process.
