Notice Description

In this tender, EDC is seeking to appoint a Contractor to manage and undertake the internal alterations and adaptations to the existing building at Auchinairn Community Centre, Auchinairn Road, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, G64 1NG.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The Works include internal alterations and adaptations to the existing building, including (but not limited to): - Downtaking and removal of existing non-load bearing stud partitions, glazed partitions, timber cladding, doors, windows, plaster, floor coverings, M&E installations, internal fixtures and fittings, etc... - Formation of male and female toilet blocks. - Formation of new non-load bearing stud partitions, infilling openings. - Formation of prayer prep. rooms. - Formation of accessible WC. - Separation of building to form 2 x separate units (Islamic Centre and Nursery). - General builderswork throughout, plaster repairs, roof repairs, external wall repairs, refurbishment of windows, etc... - Flooring alterations. - Provision of fixtures, fittings and furniture. - Drainage, heating and ventilation alterations. - Re-wire and provision of new lighting / fire alarms. - Decoration throughout.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
