Notice Description

This is a Contract Award Notice and as such the procurement process has now ended. HIE is tasked with the delivery of the first UK Space Agency (UKSA) funded vertical launch spaceport in the UK. In order to deliver this ambitious project, HIE wishes to appoint an experienced Design Team to design the proposed spaceport in North Sutherland.

Lot Information

Lot 1

HIE requires an Architect led design team, comprising as a minimum, Architectural Services, Civil & Structural Engineer, Building Services Engineer & Fire Engineer. This contract is for Design Team services up to RIBA Stage 3 with the option to extend to completion of RIBA Stage 4. In addition, HIE may wish to further extend the contract for retained services from RIBA Stage 5 until completion.

Options: HIE reserves the right, on giving reasonable written notice from time to time, to require changes to the Services as detailed in the Terms and Conditions. HIE shall not require any such change/s other than where it is permitted by Regulation 72 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
