Summary of the contracting process

Notice Description

It is the intention of the Employer (CMAL) to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to undertake works on the Old Pierhead and Main Approach structures located at Tiree Ferry Terminal, Isle of Tiree. The works will include. Underwater inspection of jetty piles; Pile cleaning, painting, and steel jacket repairs; Demolition, disposal, and replacement of timber fender grillage with new timbers and leg fenders; Demolition of redundant berthing structure alongside the Main Approach and removal of a redundant store building from the Old Pierhead deck Repairs works to jetty decks including concrete repairs, refurbishment of bollards, ladders, and sections of parapet; Underwater filling to voids in the solid section of pier; Installation and testing of active ground anchor through a tubular steel pile to provide restraint on the Main Approach; and Refurbishment of the Pedestrian Walkway including replacement of steel deck plates.
