Notice Description
North Ayrshire Council requires a suitably experienced contractor to carry out design, supply and installation of Equality Act Compliant ramps to residential properties. The Council require the service to meet the obligations under the Housing (Scotland) act 2006 and to adhere to the equality act 2010. The installation of ramps is part of a wider adaptations service offered by the Council. The resultant contract will commence in April 2019. The initial contract term will be for 3 years until April 2022 with the option to extend by up to 24 months dependant on budget approval and satisfactory performance of the supplier.

North Ayrshire Council requires a suitably experienced contractor to carry out design, supply and installation of Equality Act Compliant ramps to residential properties. The Council require the service to meet the obligations under the Housing (Scotland) act 2006 and to adhere to the equality act 2010. The installation of ramps is part of a wider adaptations service offered by the Council. The resultant contract will commence in April 2019. The initial contract term will be for 3 years until April 2022 with the option to extend by up to 24 months dependant on budget approval and satisfactory performance of the supplier. Minimum requirements: bidders are required to be enrolled in the relevant professional or trade registers within the country in which they are established Bidders will be required to have a minimum "general" yearly turnover of [280,000] GBP for the last [3] years Bidders will be required to have a minimum yearly turnover of [280,000] GBP for the last [3] years in the business area covered by the contract. Employer's (Compulsory) Liability Insurance = [10,000,000] GBP Public Liability Insurance = [10,000,000] GBP Product Liability Insurance = [5,000,000] GBP Bidders must provide 2 satisfactory references and experience for 2 different works contracts on the reference templates provided. Bidders will be required to demonstrate that they have (or have access to) the relevant tools, plant or technical equipment to deliver the types of requirements detailed in II.2.4 in this Contract Notice. Bidders will be required to confirm whether they intend to subcontract and, if so, for what proportion of the contract. ISO90001 Quality Management Systems or equivalent, or QMS policy signed off by their chief executive as per ESPD instructions ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems or equivalent, or EMS policy signed off by their chief executive as per ESPD instructions ISO18001 Health and safety management systems or equivalent, or H & S policy signed off by their chief executive as per ESPD instructions
