Lot Information
Lot 1
The Service will be provided to children and young people from the age of 5 to the age of 18. Support may also be required in some instances for children from birth to 5 and young people up to the age of 26 years who are eligible for continuing care. The advocacy service will make provision to offer advocacy for children and young people who are involved with services, with a focus on the following: Residential Care, Foster Care and Kinship Care Children and young people with additional support needs Looked after at home Children on the child protection register Any other circumstances where the referrer feels that advocacy services are required. The service will be provided to children and young people who are the responsibility of North Ayrshire Council. This list is not exhaustive and the Council may wish to specify inclusion on the list in response to changes in advocacy legislation or any other influencing factors. The Service provision will be based on One to one / individual / issue based advocacy and Non-instructed Advocacy approaches (Note there will be no provision of Group Advocacy provided within this Service).
