    "description": "The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is the largest provider of health education in Scotland. Our School of Health & Life Sciences at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) offers a wide range of innovative and exciting health, bioscience, social care, nursing and midwifery undergraduate, postgraduate, part time and continuing professional development courses to help students achieve their ambitions. As part of these courses students are required to be trained in: - Immediate Life Saving (ILS) training - ILS annual updating - Paediatric ILS training - Paediatric ILS annual updating - Recognition of the deteriorating patient training - Recognition of the deteriorating patient annual updating Additionally other staff across the university may be required to be trained as well. Currently these training requirements are delivered by our own staff and UWS is now reviewing the options to have services provided by an external service provider. To assist UWS in this review we are seeking feedback from current service providers in terms of: - relevant courses which are currently available to deliver the above training requirements - course details in terms of content - training course durations - budget costs per trainee Responses should be submitted to procurement@uws.ac.uk no later than close of play on Friday 5th April 2019.
