Notice Description

NHS Lothian ("NHSL") would like to appoint an agent for the marketing and disposal of the assets comprising of: - 10 Chalmers Crecent, Edinburgh (office accommodation) - Forteviot House 14 - 16 Hope Terrace Edinbugh (office and clinic accommodation) - Liberton Hosptial, Lasswade Road Edinburgh and ancillary accommodation - Marchhall Nursing Home 3 Marchhall Crescent Edinbrgh (office and outpatient accommodation)

Lot Information

Lot 1

NHSL is the owner of the assets and may also work with the Scottish Futures Trust in respect of the disposal. The sites must be disposed of in accordance with the principles of achieving best value for the disposals as set out in the NHS Property Transaction Handbook. NHSL is keen to market the sites immediately while still operational. They are targeting securing a capital receipt as soon as practical following relocation of clinical services in the context of achieving best value. 10 Chalmers Crescent and Forteviot House will be decommissioned and vacant by 3rd quarter of 2019. Timescales have yet to be for Liberton Hospital and Marchhall Nursing Home. The initial contract will be for a period of 18 months, after which if the properties remains unsold (or not under conditional contract) the contract may be terminated.
