Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process, led by Langstane Housing Association Ltd, pertains to the "Kitchen and Bathroom Framework 2020 - 2024", aimed at facilitating high-quality kitchen and bathroom installations in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. This initiative falls within the housing and community amenities sector and is currently in the Tender stage. Interested suppliers must submit their proposals by 8 May 2020, with the contract value estimated at £12 million. The framework consists of seven lots, each targeting different delivery locations including Aberdeen City and various regions in Aberdeenshire, Moray, and Angus.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for construction and home improvement businesses, especially those specialising in kitchen and bathroom installations. Contractors with a multi-skilled workforce, as well as those focused on specific aspects of these installations, are encouraged to compete. The framework's structure allows for collaboration or consortium bids, which may enhance the prospects for businesses looking to expand their operations in the region. Suppliers are invited to participate in a rigorous selection process that will consider their technical, economic, and suitability criteria, thereby fostering growth in local supply chains.
