Notice Description
As the department responsible for carrying out economic research projects, Shetland Islands Council (SIC) Economic Development Service, working together with Highlands and Islands Enterprise, is commissioning a detailed mapping exercise of the energy supply chain in Shetland, to support future developments in oil and gas, decommissioning, renewable energy and other large scale projects.

An 'Open' Single Stage Procedure is being followed i.e. Tenders are required following the publication of this notice. The requirements of this brief are to: -catalogue and analyse the Energy Supply Chain capability in Shetland to establish: -current skills, experience and capability in the supply chain; -where this needs to be in the future to meet future needs; -the ambition and ability of the Shetland supply chain to mobilise to address future requirements in oil and gas, decommissioning and renewable energy; -where the current gaps are; -recommend a suitable method to let customers know what the Shetland supply chain has to offer.
