* Renfrewshire Council are seeking proposals from an artist (or a cultural organisation working with an artist) to create an important piece of permanent public art to commemorate 90 years since Paisley's Glen Cinema Disaster, which happened on Hogmanay 1929. * Paisley has a new opportunity for an artist to develop a permanent public art work to commemorate one of Paisley's greatest tragedies. * The Council are engaging in a soft market test exercise to assess the market's capacity, interest and capability for delivering the event. Please note, this is not a tender process. Please refer to the Brief and Questionnaire.
