Summary of the contracting process

The Tayside and Central Scotland Transport Partnership (TACTRAN) is launching a procurement process for a project titled "Mobility as a Service Development". This initiative falls under the transport industry and aims to facilitate the development and potential implementation of a Mobility as a Service (MaaS) Solution within the Tactran region, which includes local authority areas such as Angus, Dundee City, Perth & Kinross, and Stirling. The process is currently in the planning stage, with a market engagement event scheduled for the 5th of June 2019, and a deadline for a supplier information questionnaire set for the 31st of May 2019 at 12:00 hours. The total estimated budget for this project is approximately £210,000 GBP.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses focused on transport technology, app development, and innovative service models in mobility. Companies that can provide expertise in developing proposals for funding, as well as those with experience in the implementation of transport solutions, are well-suited to compete in this process. Additionally, this is a chance for potential partnerships or consortia to form, especially for firms that can collaborate effectively to deliver the MaaS solutions envisioned by TACTRAN. Attending the market engagement event will also provide valuable insights into the project vision and allow for direct interaction with the buyers.
