The Council has an ongoing requirement to carry out Outdoor Infrastructure Projects such as community play areas, landscape development, recreation and associated infrastructure works. A number of the projects that will be procured from the framework will be subject to external funding applications by the Council. The framework will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT) and all call offs will be based on MEAT. The framework duration will be 4 years with no option to extend and the Council are anticipating that a maximum of eight contractors are appointed to the framework. The conditions of this contract are the clauses of the NEC3 Framework Contract (April 2013). As part of this tender exercise the Council have provided a live Project at Lammermoor Allotments in East Kilbride, this project is subject to successful planning application and successful funding award.
