The Partners have commissioned research that will: - Provide a comprehensive understanding of the Scottish cruise tourism ecosystem and the relative opportunities at individual local port, regional and national level; - Identify pressure points and impacts on infrastructure, environment and local communities; - Inform future planning by providing data on likely future sustainable growth at port, region and national level; - Provide the evidence base for local, regional and national cruise development assessments and strategies; - Consider how the changing cruise market may affect Scotland's position in the market - including the growth of expedition level arrival, out with established port infrastructure.
