Notice Description
NHS Lothian Estates Department is responsible for the 24/7 planned and reactive maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment across approximately 150 properties including 6 main hospital sites. The department is also involved in minor construction projects, installation of new equipment, upgrading and refurbishment of wards. At times of high demand upon the service, there may be a need to supplement the existing NHSL workforce with Metalworking and Blacksmith contractors.

Lot 1
This is a single Lot tender consisting of Internal and External Metalwork & Blacksmithing Products & Services. This term contract is for works and services that are not already covered by NHS Lothian's existing Term Contracts, namely Plumbing, Building, and Engineering.. This Tender is for Term Contract work for smaller single trade projects with a value less than 50K GBP (excluding VAT). The resulting contract will be a ranked Framework Contract covering an initial three year period (2019 to 2022) with an option to extend for a further year to maximum of four years.
Renewal: NHS Lothian reserves the right to include an optional +12 month extension
