The purpose of the Healthcare and Public Health Professionals framework is to support local and national priorities by providing a flexible, national resource for scrutiny, regulation and inspection activity. The Framework Agreement is being set up by HIS and, once it is operational, the contracting and financing of the Healthcare and Public Health Professionals' work will follow HIS procedures. The legal and financial terms and conditions for Healthcare and Public Health Professionals will therefore be those used by HIS.

Lot 1

The purpose of the Healthcare and Public Health Professionals framework is to support local and national priorities by providing a flexible, national resource for scrutiny, regulation and inspection activity. The Framework Agreement is being set up by HIS and, once it is operational, the contracting and financing of the Healthcare and Public Health Professionals' work will follow HIS procedures. The legal and financial terms and conditions for Healthcare and Public Health Professionals will therefore be those used by HIS. The Healthcare and Public Health Professionals will directly contribute scrutiny, regulation and inspection of NHS and independent healthcare services in Scotland. The duration of the Framework Agreement will initially be for two years with the option to extend for a further two separate twelve month periods, subject to agreement between HIS and those on the framework agreement.

Renewal: Option to extend for a further two 12 month extensions up to 3rd November 2024.
