Chemotherpay Electronic Prescribing System

NHS GRAMPIAN

This public procurement record has 1 release in its history.

Summary of the contracting process

NHS Grampian is seeking services for a Chemotherapy Electronic Prescribing System, with the procurement process currently in the award stage. This contract is valued at £870,000 and was signed on 31st July 2019. The contract falls under the health sector and is located in Aberdeen, UK. The procurement method used is a limited award procedure due to the existing perpetual licence held by the incumbent supplier, CIS Oncology, who is the sole provider for the required support services.

This contract presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in healthcare IT, particularly those that can provide support services for electronic prescribing systems. Companies with expertise in software maintenance and support tailored for healthcare applications would be particularly well-suited to compete in future procurement exercises, especially as NHS Grampian plans to review its requirements over the contract's duration. This could lead to additional tenders as the authority assesses its ongoing needs in relation to the chemotherapy electronic prescribing system.
