This will be the second phase of works to be carried out within Port Glasgow town centre; the first phase was carried out in 2018 on Princes Street. The paving on the footways was replaced and the paved junctions and road surfacing was also upgraded. This second phase will involve the same works to be carried out on adjoining roads Church Street and a section of John Wood Street.
