Notice Description
East Ayrshire Council is seeking to set up a Framework Agreement with several Service Providers who will'buy' from the Council, previously collected and segregated paper and cardboard for recycling, and confidential waste to ensure diversion from landfill. The material is broken down into 2 separate Lots and 6 monthly mini competitions will be carried out.
Lot Information
Lot 1 - Recycling of Paper & Cardboard
Service Providers who will 'buy' from the Council, previously collected and segregated paper and cardboard for recycling to ensure diversion from landfill. The material shall be collected from central locations within East and South Ayrshire. It is anticipated that there will be approximately 6,000 tonnes per annum for collection from East Ayrshire and a similar tonnage may require collection from the South Ayrshire area during the term of the Framework.. East Ayrshire Council may take on contract administration of South Ayrshire Council's paper and cardboard waste recycling therefore any contract will be with East Ayrshire. Tonnages cannot be guaranteed during the term of the Framework.
Renewal: 2 one-year extension options
Lot 2 - Recycling of Confidential WasteService Providers who will 'buy' from the Council, previously collected and segregated confidential waste for recycling to ensure diversion from landfill. The material shall be collected from central locations within East Ayrshire. It is anticipated that there will be approximately 30 tonnes per annum.
Renewal: 2 one-year extension options
