Medical Services at NHS Hospitals (Urology) (NP676/17 Mini-Competition)
Notice Description
NHS Fife is inviting suppliers admitted to the framework agreement NP676/17 Medical Services at NHS Hospitals to submit a bid for Urology services. NHS Fife is looking for service provision to commence from the beginning of September 2019 and to end in October 2019.It is expected that the service provider will undertake a minimum of 10 day case procedures per day, per consultant. The types of procedures required are detailed in the attached Schedule 1.Any limitation on the procedures that Urology Consultants cannot do from the procedure list must be outlined when CVs are submitted.It is anticipated that the sessions will be held at either the Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline however the service provider must be prepared to deliver services at any premises within Fife.The service provider will have access to the Board's Urology Theatre at Queen Margaret Hospital from 08:30 to 17:00 hrs on Saturdays and/or Sundays. The provider will undertake a minimum of 10 day case procedures per day, per consultant. The Board will require the medical service provider to provide a potentially up to a full theatre team, an anaesthetist and an urology consultant.It is essential there is continuity of staffing during the duration of this contract, to ensure familiarisation with our Board's practices, quality systems, computer systems and premises.The attached Schedule 1 contains the full clinical specification. Please complete and attach a copy of Schedule 2 denoting costings as well as detail of how you will implement the services.
